A land tied to vineyards since the time of the Reconquest which saw the flourishing of wine culture through the Cistercian monks, which bore direct testament to the cooperative boom, which preserves Catalan Art Nouveau wineries that are authentic wine cathedrals, and which today is on the rise again thanks to winegrowers who are looking to the past to build the future.
