The importance of the wine sector is evident from the large number of agents that make it up. From the institutions that promote it to the facilities that value it, passing through the training centers that ensure its generational relay and the entities that bring together the workers in the sector. Without forgetting the media they procure for its dissemination.

Catalan Vine and Wine Institute (INCAVI)

The Catalan Vine and Wine Institute is a Public Research Center created in 1980 as an autonomous body of the Generalitat of Catalonia. At the service of the national viticultural and oenological productive activity, INCAVI aims to encourage quality wines and make them more competitive in the domestic and foreign markets, promote research, experimentation and technology transfer, as well as disseminate the Knowledge of Catalan wines, Denominations of Origin and promoting wine culture.
