Sitges Harvest Festival 2023

Sitges celebrates the 62nd edition of the Harvest Festival (Verema), on September 29, 30 and October 1

It is one of the festivals with the longest tradition in the local festive calendar. The program of events, which will be concentrated mainly in the Plaza de la Fragata, includes a wine sample, the proclamation of La Verema and the grape-stomping contest with the peso de la Pubilla and el Hereu with bottles of wine, as main acts

The proclamation of the Harvest Festival will officially kick off the celebration on Saturday, September 30 at 7:00 p.m.

The schedule of events continues over the weekend, and the highlights of the last day will be the pressing of the first must, the 44th Grape-stomping Contest, the weighing of Pubilla and Hereu with its equivalent in wine, and the inauguration from the fountain of wine.

The traditional Sitges Harvest Festival is organized by the Sitges City Council and Foment de Sitges with the sponsorship of Familia Torres.
