Dones de Vi de Sant Fruitós de Bages

Oenologists, sommeliers and communicators will meet in the municipality to reflect and debate on present and future challenges and opportunities.

The second edition of this event will take place this Saturday, May 6 in Sant Fruitós de Bages and will once again feature farmers, oenologists, sommeliers, distributors and communicators from all over Catalonia. Women who through the conversation will be able to share thoughts and experiences around wine, which will be the guiding thread and which will invite debate on topics such as farming, generational succession, landscape conservation and the climate emergency. Also about the oenological revolution that the country is experiencing, minimal intervention wines and the new profiles of wines and consumers or the value of communication and wine tourism, in addition to parenting and family reconciliation.

The event will be conducted by the journalist and sommelier Ruth Troyano, accompanied by the sommelier Clara Antúnez, who will lead the wine tasting, and the journalist and director of Vadevi.cat, Eva Vicens, who will close the day.

This women’s agora, organized by the Museum of Vine and Wine Memory, has the support of INCAVI, the Diputació de Barcelona, DO Pla de Bages and the Bages Wine Route.
