The perseverance and tenacity of a few intrepid winegrowers have recovered the heritage of what was once one of the most important wine-growing areas in the country. At the foot of Montserrat there are vineyards sheltered by forests, vats recovered from disuse, dry stone huts, small wineries and stunning projects.
